King

We purchased our beautiful boy King, of K9 Angel’s Lacey and Silverhill’s Falko, born July 16/08. I had spoken with a few breeders (we did all of our research online) but there was something special about K9 Angels that we immediately knew Tanya’s pups were breed and raised in a dedicated, loving environment.

Tanya was very cautious about ensuring her pups went to responsible, caring homes and that was my first clue that they were breed to be ultimate companions and that her heart was truly in this. From the time we chose our pup to the day we picked him up and still ongoing to this day Tanya has been helpful, informative and involved. We enrolled King in obedience classes taught locally in Langley by a friend of Tanya’s and are very pleased with the results.

Now.... I could go and bragging about King forever... ha ha but I won’t go toooo far right now. I will say we couldn’t have ended up with a happier, more social and loyal pup. King is ridiculously intelligent and always willing to learn and aims to please. Not to mention absolutely stunning looking! Though we don’t have children of our own he has proven to be gentle and soft with any child he encounters. With such an incredible temperament I can’t imagine not having this pup in our lives.

Now this is not just due to good breeding lines, other factors influence what kind of personality a pup will have. I give credit to the time and effort Tanya put into ensuring the pups are properly socialized at such a young impressionable age. She develops an undeniable bond with her pups and I knew this when we first drove away with King and the tears filled up in her eyes. This is a passion for her and I understand her wanting to ensure her babies receive the same love and
attention she gives.

As a first time German Shepherd owner I firmly believe that a dog, especially a GSD, should never be purchased as a novelty or something cute to look at and play with once in a while. These dogs are like people. The most loyal, compassionate friend you can find and I personally think it is unfair to them to be treated as anything less. These dogs require a lot of time and energy and demand your respect. But they will reciprocate that respect right back to you 10x more and you will find it so incredibly rewarding. They want to please you, they want to be there for you but most importantly they want to be WITH you.

We have found a friend to walk, hike, swim, camp, play ball, or simply just relax with. We love our King to pieces and are very grateful to K9 Angels for such a perfect first “son”.

Subject: Letter of Reference for Tanya Hainstock, K-9 Angels Training and Kennels

Our family purchased a beautiful pup from K-9 Angels Kennel.  Tanya Hainstock made our purchase of our pet so easy and we still keep in touch.  Our “pup” who is now 9 months old is a beautiful, smart boy, whom the whole family loves.  He’s a healthy boy and has grown from a tiny pup into a big, big, boy, that we couldn’t imagine not having in our family.  He provides love and comfort for our entire family and loves to be the protector of our home.
If you would like additional information about my experience with purchasing a “pup” from K-9 Angels, please feel free to contact me at  jgeluk@shaw.ca .
Sincerely,
J. Geluk

To Whom It May Concern:
Re:  k9 Angels Kennels and Tanya Hainstock

In August, 2008 we connected with Tanya over the internet in our search for a German Shepherd puppy.  We found Tanya to be very helpful, caring and informative, and decided that we wanted to purchase a pup from her.  We travelled to her home and kennel and spent several hours with her and her family.  We found the kennels and environment to be beautifully spacious and parklike, well thought-out and spotlessly clean.  The adult dogs were all friendly and gentle, and very, very well-behaved.  Every one of the pups was  happy and playful, running around the lawn and through the bushes, having a ball.  Not one appeared to have any “issues” whatsoever.
When our pup was delivered, he was already familiar with walking on a leash – at eight weeks!  Also, he adapted to us right away, and gave us not one sleepless night.  He just settled in perfectly.  I’m sure this can’t happen all the time, but we were pretty impressed.
We have remained in contact with Tanya, and have found that she is very conscientious about breeding for health and temperament, as well as intelligence.  We would recommend Tanya to anyone looking for a German Shepherd.  She is a breeder who does everything in her power to bring healthy, happy pups into the world, and works hard to get them ready for excellent homes.  Tanya takes her business seriously and your money would be well spent on any puppy coming from her kennels.

Kali

Our "puppy" is now 2 years old, and every bit as fabulous as when we got her from K-9 Angels. Not only is she gorgeous, she's smart too!.
Kali was our first experience with a puppy and we are ever so grateful for all the work that Tanya puts into her puppies before sending them off to good homes. At 8 weeks Kali had been for lots of car rides, socialized to people and other dogs, and even started leash walking. From the day we took her home she slept through the night and moved right into our hearts.
Tanya has always been available to answer questions, give us training pointers, and particularly to remind me that puppies eventually grow out of the teething stage! Kali has an incredibly calm, steady temperament which is a reflection of good breeding and good early socialization and training.
The joy Kali has brought to our household is immeasurable - thank you Tanya for such a wonderful family member.

Kelsey

We started our journey, to find a German Sheppard puppy, with a lot of questions, the most important of which was where can we find a reputable breeder? After asking friends and family and searching some websites we were quite happy to learn that we had a breeder in our very own backyard.
My wife and I emailed Tanya, introduced ourselves and then over the course of the next several months proceeded to bombard her with questions, all of which she answered quickly and patiently.
We went out to the Kennels on a number of different occasions, first to meet all of her dogs and look at her facilities (very impressive), second to meet the puppies after they were born, again to meet the puppies and finally to pick up our little/big addition to the family.
We have not been disappointed. Kelsey is big loving, hyper intelligent bundle of fur. She’s great with all of our children (we have four, ranging in age from 4 yrs. old to newborn) who all love to have turns petting and hugging her on a regular basis, chasing her and being chased by her. She runs with them through the sprinklers, plays fetch with them and is as gentle as can be; she also loves to join us all on walks and long hikes.
Although she is still virtually brand new to our family unit, we can’t imagine not having her around.

A big thank you to Tanya and K-9 Angels for, patiently and courteously answering all of our questions, letting us know what to expect and finally for providing such a wonderful companion to our family unit.

Sincerely,

Jason and Jocelyn (and family) Clancy
